Theresa Jäger is a highly dedicated and experienced primary teacher from New Zealand with an extensive knowledge in teaching English literacy skills and a passion for learning. Having taught in State primary schools in the cantons of Zug and Lucerne and accompanying her two young children through the local school system, she is familiar with what is taught and how things are taught in the local primary school. In order to boost the English skills of the numerous children with English as their first language in the State primary schools, she has created the English Extension Booklets for every unit of the coursebook Young World and is very generously sharing them with teachers, in particular in the canton of Zug, so that a maximum number of English-speaking children can benefit from them.

“I found it very interesting how my little 5-years old daughter could so easily learn phonics and how to read although English is not her mother tongue and it was her first language to read in. Theresa has set up a program, that helps to understand how the language works and all its basic structures. For sure to recommend.”
